Baptism
The Sacrament of Baptism welcomes a child into the family of God and the community of the Church
Baptism Preparation
Parents are normally asked to attend a short preparation meeting before presenting their child for Baptism. These meetings usually take place on the last Monday of the month at 8:30 pm in the Parish Centre.
The meeting is led by Fr Andrei Blaj, together with the parish sacramental preparation team. During the meeting parents are helped to understand the meaning of Baptism and how to prepare for the celebration of this important sacrament.
Registering for Baptism
To arrange a Baptism, parents are asked to complete a Baptism Registration Form at the Parish Office.
When booking the Baptism, please bring:
- A copy of the child's birth certificate
- The names of the godparents
