Pilgrimages… A meaningful journey to a sacred place

Edenderry Parish Pilgrimage to Lourdes 2024.

30th July – 6th August. Hotel Solitude 7 nights full board. €995 per person sharing. Limited number of single room available – supplement €39 per night.

The diocesan pilgrimage to Knock takes place this year on Sunday 2nd June. Bishop Denis Nulty will celebrate Mass in the Basilica at 3pm.

This pilgrimage is arranged by Joe Walsh pilgrimages or Marian pilgrimages.

Lough Derg is a peaceful and prayerful Island. It lies about 4 miles from Pettigo, on the Donegal/Fermanagh border.  The popular one day retreats – now in their 28th year – continue to offer an oasis of calm from the hurly burly of everyday life. Fatima in Portugal, is a renowned place of Pilgrimage home to one of the World’s most famous Shrines dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Located north of Lisbon, the Shrine is the site of events of 1917 in which 3 children, Lucia and her cousins Jacinta and Francisco, witnessed apparitions of the Virgin Mary on 13th May 1917 and on the 13 day of the 5 following months.
